I was playing with my camera as the family was getting ready to leave after Thanksgiving dinner. I took a candid picture of my Uncle Mike, in which looked a bit like a scary mugger. I figured it might be fun to elaborate on that theme a bit with some help from my grandmother. [more]
Return of the Turkey Vultures

I am on another trip to NJ, and another animal has died out behind my parents house. This time it is a deer, and it attracted dozens of turkey vultures for a couple of days. [more]
Atlantic City RAW

I continued taking pictures in RAW format when we got to Atlantic city. I snapped a couple of pictures in the parking lot and the hotel room to try things out, and then brought my camera when we went down to the boardwalk for dinner. [more]

Last weekend I sat in on one of Sam D'Amico's photography classes. He talked about how it is important to choose a camera that supports shooting pictures in RAW format. I realized that even though my camera supports RAW, I have never actually tried using it. [more]
