Last weekend I sat in on one of Sam D'Amico's photography classes. He talked about how it is important to choose a camera that supports shooting pictures in RAW format. I realized that even though my camera supports RAW, I have never actually tried using it. [more]

I took these pictures on Sunday, but have been on deadline all week, so didn't even have time to take them off the flash card until tonight. I should still be coding but brain good now not work. [more]

On Friday I took a bunch of pictures of Adams Morgan on the way to the lab and down to dinner. I am conflicted about taking pictures of the neighborhood. They turn out very nice, but it is more a function of the colorful background than my photographic ability.

One of the best things about the new apartment is that there is a room that I can use as a dedicated office. A light-filled room with lots of windows and a great view. [more]
